Ms. Andreea Rădoescu, a 2017 graduate of the Computers and Information Technology specialization, is one of the scholarship winners in the Women Techmakers Scholars Program:
The scholarships, which include an award for the 2017-2018 academic year, have been instituted by Google to promote gender equality in computer science and to encourage women to excel in technology and become active leaders in the field.
For the 20 winners from Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Google has organized a retreat at its London office, including activities with mentors and workshops for academic and professional development.
Andreea has been accepted to continue her studies in the Master's program at ETH Zürich. We congratulate her and hope that her success will motivate an increasing number of students to follow their passion for the programs offered by our faculty.
